• Class teacher grade 5, Math/Science. Permanent position starting 2026-03-01.

Blåsboskolan, Blåsboskolan (https://skola.vasteras.se/grundskolor/blasboskolan)

• Class teacher grades 1-6. Temporary position during 2026, starting 2026-01-07 to 2026-12-18.

• Teacher in preschool class. Temporary position from 2025-01-07 to 2026-06-12.

Your Responsibilities

Your main task will be to work with planning, teaching, guidance, and value-based work according to the curriculum (LGR22). But being a teacher today involves so much more. Working as a teacher means constantly developing new methods based on the students you meet. Capturing students' interests and creating fun and challenging lessons from that. It also involves documenting students' learning to enable their chances of reaching their goals. In addition to pedagogy, you will also work with student health to ensure that students feel good and safe at school.

Your Competence

You are a certified teacher for primary school grades F-6, or you are a certified preschool teacher authorized to teach in preschool class. You are confident in your pedagogical leadership and actively use digital tools in the classroom. As a person, you create trust, are a role model, and build relationships with students and their guardians. For you, collaboration is a given both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experiences.

Recruitment Process

We have a central and unified recruitment process for teachers in primary school. This means that we interview and fill our positions continuously based on the needs of the schools. We update the advertisement continuously with available positions. You will, of course, have the opportunity to express your school preferences when you submit your application. If you proceed after any interview, you will have the opportunity to visit selected schools based on current needs.

If you are not a trained teacher, your application may be forwarded to principals who have temporary positions available.

If you currently work as a teacher in our schools but are interested in changing units, you need to apply here. However, you will not need to go through all the steps in the recruitment process.

When you submit your application, you fill out a survey, where you have the opportunity to indicate which school or schools you are interested in. In your application, we would like you to attach:

• Your teaching certification including authorization list.

Other Information

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police record.

In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, which is required under the Aliens Ordinance. All offers of recruitment and advertising assistance are declined.
